Sage Hall was built in the fourth year during the reign of Emperor Kangxi (1665) and was under major maintenance in the eighteenth year of Emperor Jiaqing. The Hall is divided into two parts: the southern part is Sage Hall and the northern part is Mujiashan Hall. Mujiashan Hall now displays a wooden rockery placed by Li Menglian, the chief lecturer of Meishan Academy in the 12th year during the reign of Emperor Daoguang (1832) in the Qing Dynasty. The rectangular building faces south and has three rooms at the front side, with a width of 14.29 meters, a depth of one room of 8.1 meters, and a height of 8.35 meters, surrounded by a corridor as wide as 1.68 meters. This building covers an area of 204 square meters. It features a beam-lifting frame and a single-eave gable roof covered with green tiles. Both ends of the main ridge are decorated with animal figures and the vertical ridge is decorated with curly grass patterns.
