The elm tree, also known as the spring elm and the white elm, is a deciduous tree of the elm family, with smooth, grey-brown or light grey bark on young trees and dark grey bark on aged trees. 

There are three municipal-level Class III protected elm trees in Meishan San Su Shrine Museum.
