Ginkgo trees, also known as maidenhair trees and Gongsun trees, were once one of the rare trees left in China, known as "living fossils". Its fruits and leaves have high medicinal and edible values.

The Ancestral Temple of the Three Sus is home to one Ginkgo tree under municipal-level Class I protection and two Ginkgo trees under municipal-level Class III protection.
