Tablet of Sacrificial and God-worship Poem in Luochi Temple

The inscription of the Tablet of Sacrificial and God-worship Poem in Luochi Temple was written by Su Shi to worship Liu Zongyuan and the original was created by Han Yu in a unique calligraphy style. Because these three are outstanding figures in the history of Chinese literature and art, and the stone tablet is superior in terms of inscription content, calligraphy and carving, it is called "Three Excellence Tablets". There are two carved stones of the "Tablet of Sacrificial and God-worship Poem in Luochi Temple" collected in Meishan San Su Shrine Museum. The first one is from the 44th year during the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1705) and was carved under the leadership of Jin Yifeng, the Governor of Meishan. There is a postscript: "Liuzhou Stele for Mr. Su, by Governor Jin Yifeng." Later, the handwriting was illegible due to serious denudation. The second one is a carved double-hook stone from Guo Qingcong in Meishan, carved by Wang Longshan in Meishan in the fifth year of the Republic of China (1916). There is a postscript: "The inscription on Liuzhou Stele for Mr. Su, by Governor Jin Yifeng, totally disappeared due to serious denudation. Yesterday, I got one double-hook stone of rubbing of the Song Dynasty from my friend Zhang Youquan, of which the details were recorded by Guo Qingcong, a native of Yi in the 5th year of the Republic of China."
