Celebrities and Meishan San Su Shrine Museum tells the story of celebrities and the cultural relics and architectural remains of Meishan San Su Shrine Museum, aiming to spread its history and appreciate its unique cultural charm. This book is divided into three chapters: Ancient Part, Modern Part, and Local Celebrity Part, with a total of 32 celebrities mentioned. The Ancient Part includes 15 celebrities from the Southern Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties (Lu You, Wei Liaoweng, Li Qixian, Xu Ren, Zhao Huiyia, Jin Yifeng, Zhang Duihe, He Shaoji, Li Menglian, Gong Yiqing, Zhang Zhidong, Mao Long'en, Huang Yunhu, Gu Yinyu, and Zhao Fan), while the modern chapter begins with the Republic of China and includes 12 celebrities (Chen Guodong, Yu Anmin, Zhu De, Li Yimeng, Liu Mengkang, Guo Shaoyu, Zhao Puchu, Zhang Aiping, Qian Songyan, Chen Zizhuang, Cheng Shifa, Wang Xuezhong). The chapter “Local celebrities” is a special one devoted to five famous Meishan scholars from the Qing Dynasty (Chen Boqing, Peng Yaozhang, Du Chonghua, Feng Jianwu, and Wu Zhongyi). All these names and stories and cultural relics behind them represent the Meishan people’s admiration for the Su family.
