After more than a year of efforts of planning, "Family of Su Dongpo — Special Exhibition of Cultural Relics on the Subject of Su Shi" was opened on January 21, 2022 as a celebration for the 985th anniversary of Mr. Su Shi's birth. The exhibition is organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Meishan Municipal Committee and the Meishan Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism Bureau, and hosted by the Ancestral Temple of the Three Sus Museum in Meishan. The exhibition was much supported by the Palace Museum, the Palace Press, Sichuan Song Porcelain Museum, Pengzhou Cultural Relics Protection Management Institute, Pengshan District Cultural Relics Protection Institute in Meishan, and Hongya County Cultural Relics Protection Center. The exhibition "Family of Su Dongpo - Special Exhibition of Cultural Relics on the Subject of Su Shi" is divided into four units named "romantic scholar", "sentimental writing", "taste of the world" and "elegant collection", which showcases 45 pieces (sets) of paintings, calligraphy, inscriptions, tablets, artifacts and other cultural relics related to Mr. Su Shi from the Song Dynasty to modern times. This exhibition presents the literary, artistic, and life interests of the literati of the Song Dynasty, represented by Su Shi, from different perspectives, and highlights the charisma of Su Shi, the "Greatest Literati through the ages".
